According to a recent study by the renowned law firm Lübke Kelber, Dresden now ranks among the top 14 German cities in terms of residential property.

The positive development of the housing market in Dresden, the rising quality of life, the long-term decline in the vacancy rate, the large proportion of foreign investors and the growing economic strength are cited as the reasons for the new ranking. The current vacancy rate stands at 1.1%. Rents have risen by 7% annually over the last two years.
